I live in rural New Brunswick which provides most of the subject matter of my paintings. I have a three-wheeled bicycle with a large basket on the back where I can store my paints, a chair and a table and anything else needed. When I am painting, I am in a world of pure concentration. My goal is to create spontaneous, balanced and authentic works of art with the hope that people who see my art will feel the same kind of pleasure that I do.
I am enjoying your progression of monoprints. I tried to make some valentines using acrylics but do not like the texture of the paint for the hearts. They became baloon. Want to try gouache.
Joyce, these worked out really well! I love them. Something's up with Blogarithm, because I missed the last four. I'm caught up now, though!
I'm still revisiting different media with the monoprints. Today I took the day off because of deadlines, but tomorrow I want to do a couple more in oil, and then after that, gouache.

I know what you mean about the texture. I'm tired of that "leaf-vein" look and will have to experiment with more diluted paint.
I noticed that Jim Dine has done a whole series of hearts. See
