I live in rural New Brunswick which provides most of the subject matter of my paintings. I have a three-wheeled bicycle with a large basket on the back where I can store my paints, a chair and a table and anything else needed. When I am painting, I am in a world of pure concentration. My goal is to create spontaneous, balanced and authentic works of art with the hope that people who see my art will feel the same kind of pleasure that I do.

Mini-Painting 89 (Brass Bell), Watercolour, 2 1/2 x 3 1/2
These mini paintings are just fantastic, Joyce. I wish the file sizes were a bit larger so I could expand them a bit when I click on them! Happy new year and looking forward to seeing lots more of your paintings if you can keep up the pace...
Why, thank you, Clive. It has made my year begin on a very happy note. I'm so glad you visited.
The reason I don't make the file sizes larger is that the paintings are only about the size of the image, 2 1/2 x 3 1/2. When they are too big, they look washed out to me.

Anyway, I'm glad you like them.
Nice bell. I like the way you painted it.
