I live in rural New Brunswick which provides most of the subject matter of my paintings. I have a three-wheeled bicycle with a large basket on the back where I can store my paints, a chair and a table and anything else needed. When I am painting, I am in a world of pure concentration. My goal is to create spontaneous, balanced and authentic works of art with the hope that people who see my art will feel the same kind of pleasure that I do.

Mini-Painting 68 (NZ Landscape, Waterfall), 3 1/2 x 2 1/2
Joyce, are you trading these or just painting on the ATC size? I love the changes in your work as you have tried new stuff and let us see the results on a daily basis. A
Annette, I have joined an ATC group at http://www.illustratedatcs.com/ and I have entered the Fine Art Swap. I'm not sure exactly how it works but I have until mid-Feb to figure it out. There are some fabulous works on these small cards at that site. I'm not sure quite how it is helping me in my painting, but I get a real charge out of doing them.
The cards that aren't up to par (but still are not too bad) I anonymously put into library books on page 100 for people to find a "treasure," or a bookmark, in the books they choose to read. I guess this is called "RAK" (Random Acts of Kindness) according to people who make these cards.
I also have in mind a way of presenting about 60 of these small paintings in an individual framed format and that is my project for the winter.
