I live in rural New Brunswick which provides most of the subject matter of my paintings. I have a three-wheeled bicycle with a large basket on the back where I can store my paints, a chair and a table and anything else needed. When I am painting, I am in a world of pure concentration. My goal is to create spontaneous, balanced and authentic works of art with the hope that people who see my art will feel the same kind of pleasure that I do.

White's Barn 3 (With Cupola), Watercolour, 14 x 11
Am enjoying this recent work Joyce. Particularly the watercolours. You been a busy girl and I feel like we are having a race and I'm puffed out. All the best. John
John, I didn't know we were having a race. I didn't mean to puff you out. I have been doing a painting a day since Nov 2005 and now that I am in that mode, I am trying to maintain it.
I see you are doing trees and water, too, but in a different manner, of course. Love following your work.
