I live in rural New Brunswick which provides most of the subject matter of my paintings. I have a three-wheeled bicycle with a large basket on the back where I can store my paints, a chair and a table and anything else needed. When I am painting, I am in a world of pure concentration. My goal is to create spontaneous, balanced and authentic works of art with the hope that people who see my art will feel the same kind of pleasure that I do.

Joyce,
I just wanted to let you know how much I am ejoying your daily paintings. Your buildings are especilly well done. I like purple. -and found nothing wrong with it in your earlier series. Many shadows seem purplish to me here in Florida--especially near dense greens.
I love solitary trees!! I used to drive between Jacksonville, FL. and Brunswick, Ga., alot. There was a particular tall skinny pine tree that I paid my respects to each time. It's gone now, kind of sad.
