I live in rural New Brunswick which provides most of the subject matter of my paintings. I have a three-wheeled bicycle with a large basket on the back where I can store my paints, a chair and a table and anything else needed. When I am painting, I am in a world of pure concentration. My goal is to create spontaneous, balanced and authentic works of art with the hope that people who see my art will feel the same kind of pleasure that I do.
Finally a visit, and this one is lovely. Good to see someone has been busy over the summer! I love Maynard Dixon's painting, which might be one reason I like this, very commendable you've got such intense colour and light with w.c. Lots new to look at, will have to come back again. Love the miniature of the birch trees, and the graininess of the small stuff. Barn portraits; super. A show, you need a show. Also like the oils with the narrow strip of buildings and the large abstract fields. Hope you're still getting the weather to get out! C.

Thank you, Clive, for your visit and comments. I appreciate both. I'm off to see Maynard Dixon on the Internet.
Next year I have two shows coming up that overlap. It never rains but what it pours!
Overlaps. That takes a toll with framing expenses! Still, great opportunities.
