I live in rural New Brunswick which provides most of the subject matter of my paintings. I have a three-wheeled bicycle with a large basket on the back where I can store my paints, a chair and a table and anything else needed. When I am painting, I am in a world of pure concentration. My goal is to create spontaneous, balanced and authentic works of art with the hope that people who see my art will feel the same kind of pleasure that I do.

Imaginary Landscape 2, Watercolour, 3 1/2 x 12 1/2
Hi Joyce, continue to love the minis; they seem to work so well because they have to be so simple. I think I'm going to try some! But I also love the documentation of the local barns and houses that you're doing...and the fiddle heads. Lots and lots of nice new stuff.
Thank you, Clive. It was your paintings of houses and other buildings that gave me the impetus to record the old houses where I live. I don't have any big old mountains or great forests to paint (like you do), so I have to paint what I know and see. It's surprising to me what I see around me now that I didn't notice before!
