I live in rural New Brunswick which provides most of the subject matter of my paintings. I have a three-wheeled bicycle with a large basket on the back where I can store my paints, a chair and a table and anything else needed. When I am painting, I am in a world of pure concentration. My goal is to create spontaneous, balanced and authentic works of art with the hope that people who see my art will feel the same kind of pleasure that I do.
Will you look at that!! Wow... There's always such a "feel" to your work. Your swans caught my eye the first time I came here. Do you "teach" art Joyce?
No, I don't teach art (although I did train adults on using computers before I "retired"). I am, however, volunteering this fall to teach adults in watercolour and the thought terrifies me.
That is great Joyce. I hope you share some of your experiences as a "teacher". I'm sure it's a scarey thing to think about but gosh, you'll be great I'm sure. Is it at a craft store, community center, junior college, ...or none of the above...?
