I live in rural New Brunswick which provides most of the subject matter of my paintings. I have a three-wheeled bicycle with a large basket on the back where I can store my paints, a chair and a table and anything else needed. When I am painting, I am in a world of pure concentration. My goal is to create spontaneous, balanced and authentic works of art with the hope that people who see my art will feel the same kind of pleasure that I do.

Artificial Sunflowers, Ink and Watercolour, 11 X 9 inches
I've begun to sketch using pen before colouring with watercolour. The result is a little different from my usual style.
First off I love this..secondly, just today my sis and I are going to take our "stuff" outside and do some pen and then watercolor washes. I've actually never tried to do this...

Your "art" inspires me.
I've started to do all my sketches in ink. It makes things happen in a different way when you know you cannot just reach for the eraser!
