I live in rural New Brunswick which provides most of the subject matter of my paintings. I have a three-wheeled bicycle with a large basket on the back where I can store my paints, a chair and a table and anything else needed. When I am painting, I am in a world of pure concentration. My goal is to create spontaneous, balanced and authentic works of art with the hope that people who see my art will feel the same kind of pleasure that I do.
I'm thoroughly enjoying this card series Joyce. I particularly liked No28 that beautiful colour blend that you got in that mushroom.(Fly Agaric?). Keep well, and I hope it's not too long before you are back on your bike.
Thanks, John. I don't know the name of the mushroom (more's the pity. I looked up the names of the mushrooms when I was busy painting them, but I have since forgotten them.) There have been days when I could have ridden my bike, but I have polished it all up and put it away for the season so won't be riding again until April.
