I live in rural New Brunswick which provides most of the subject matter of my paintings. I have a three-wheeled bicycle with a large basket on the back where I can store my paints, a chair and a table and anything else needed. When I am painting, I am in a world of pure concentration. My goal is to create spontaneous, balanced and authentic works of art with the hope that people who see my art will feel the same kind of pleasure that I do.

Old House (Sisson Settlement Road), Watercolour, 10 x 14
Like it - foreground - background. Interesting. Feels a bit like I'm in the woods looking up ar rhis house on the hill. Spying on it. It's definitely a little dangerous, with the barbed wire in the foreground. but the house itself actualy looks pleasant.
I wonder how far back you could put the house and still have the composition make sense. And then what is in the foreground that makes the connection to the house way back in the background. I guess I can't get that damn Wyeth painting out of my head.
